Puppy Parents - Sunny Studio Stamps

Happy Friday, everyone!  I have a card to share with you today featuring the adorable Puppy Parents Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stamps!

This set really caught my eye the first time that I saw it.  How precious are these cute little pups and their parents?

I kept my card fairly simple today and used a piece of patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers Paper Pack for my background.  I then cut a strip of white paper at 2" x  5.5" and then diecut it with the Window Trio Square Dies to add some beautiful stitched square windows.

I stamped all of my images with black ink and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers.  I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I adhered all of my images to my card with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares to add some more interest and dimension.

Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiments with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto black card stock and trimmed each piece down with a paper trimmer before adding them to the front of my card.

That's all I have for today!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Penguin Ray - Whimsy Stamps

Hello, friends!  I have one more post to share with you today that is for a good cause.

Penguin Ray Digital Stamp

This Penguin Ray Digital Stamp was designed by Whimsy Stamp's Chrissy Armstrong.  She designed it for her brother, Ray (above), who is currently battling cancer.  Whimsy Stamps will be donating ALL proceeds from the purchase of this digi stamp to the Canadian Make-a-Wish Foundation in his honor.  You can check out this digi HERE.

To create my card, I printed my stamp onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 80lb Card Stock and then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers.

I stamped my sentiment from the "You Are" clear stamps set and then diecut my picture with the Notched Squares Die Set and attached it to a blue card stock base.

I Adore You - MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge #430

It's time for the latest Wednesday Sketch Challenge from MFT Stamps!  It's the perfect opportunity to stretch your imagination and have fun creating projects inspired by each weekly sketch.

I enjoyed creating my project this week which features the Pure Innocence "So Much Love" Stamp Set.

To start, I stamped my image with Copic friendly Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.  I then colored her with Copic Sketch Markers.

Copic Colors Used:
  • Skin: E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04
  • Hair: E41, E42, E44, E49
  • Shoes: E41, E42, E44, E47
  • Dress: RV0000, RV00, RV02, RV04, E31, E34

I used the coordinating die to cut her out and then set her aside while I worked on the background of my card.  I used the Lots of Heart Stencil with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks for a lightly blended pattern of hearts.  For some contrast, I added a strip of black & white patterned paper from the Black & White Dots Paper Pack.

For my heart trio, I blended some Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks (I love how much bolder the Distress Inks are than the same colors in the Oxides) onto a smooth white piece of card stock.  I then spattered this piece with some Opaque White Paint and let it dry.  To diecut them, I used the smallest die from the Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics.  I added all of my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Squares to my card base for some added dimension.

Here's a look at this week's sketch.  Come join us and play along for a chance to be the random winner of a $50MFT Gift Voucher!  Make sure to drop by the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog to be inspired by the rest of the team!

MFT Stamps - Treat Bag Topper Kit Release Day!

Hello friends!  It's time to shop the MFT Treat Bag Topper Kit!  I had so much fun creating different treat bag toppers for this kit.

I used the Stacey Yacula Easter Bunnies Stamp Set for my treat bag toppers today.  I felt that these would be perfect as little Easter treat bags since the holiday is right around the corner.

I stamped my images with Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copics.  I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the tags themselves, I used Homespun Gingham Paper Pack and added some Stitched Scallop Circles into the center of the toppers for some added interest.

I adhered my bunnies into the centers of these circles with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares and then added my sentiment from which I had diecut using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

This kit is available now, until supplies last, at a great bundle price!  I love how it comes with so many different treat bags!

  • Hair: E40, E42, E43, E44

MFT Stamps Treat Bag Topper Kit - Day 2

Hello, crafty friends!  It's Day 2 of the latest My Favorite Things Kit Release Countdown!

When I create cards or crafts, there are a lot of times that my ideas come from things that I will actually use or things that my kids, friends, and/or family would like.

Today is one of those examples.  My kids are huge Minion fans and these treat bag toppers would be perfect for any Minion fan in your life!

They are super easy to make!  All you will need are the diecut pieces shown above. Supplies used will be shown in the list and also the photo links below.

1.  Use the Treat Bag Topper Die to cut some Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock

2.  Combine the Stitched Circle Die-namics with one of the Circle STAX Die-namics
Set 2 with some Grout Grey Card Stock to make a stitched circular frame.

3.  Diecut a white circle using another Circle STAX Set 2 Die

4.  Diecut a smaller circle using Kraft Card Stock and the second to smallest die from the Circle
     STAX Die-namics Set 2

5.  Using the smallest die from the Circle STAX Die-namics Set 2, diecut a circle from Black
     Licorice Card Stock

6.  Use a regular sized hole puncher and White Card Stock to cut the smallest circle

7.  Using Blueprints 31, diecut the goggle piece from Black Licorice Card Stock

Prior to piecing it all together, I trimmed off the handle on top so that the Minion eye would take the place of the handle.

Here's what you get when you glue it all together!  Super fun and super easy!  I ended up adding some yellow half circles to some of the eyes for more variety.  Once done, I filled the treat bags with Hershey Whoppers Candy.

Needless to say, my kids were super excited when they saw these and now they all want Minon Birthday Parties this year (which we already did for my oldest son last year, lol).

I hope you are enjoying all of the Treat Bag Toppers idea being brought to you by team!  Make sure to check out everyone's ideas through the links from the MFT Blog!  Also leave a comment on the MFT Blog for a chance to win a $25 MFT Gift Voucher!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!  If you liked these treat bags and want some more crafty inspiration, don't forget to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!

MFT Stamps Treat Bag Topper Kit - Day 1

Hello everyone!  I am super excited to share with you the latest kit that we have from My Favorite Things!  It's called the Treat Bag Topper Kit and I can't tell you just how much fun it is!

I have a few fun treat bags to share with you over the next few days and the rest of the team has created so many cute designs, so you'll want to go and check them out!

This kit comes with a bunch of beautiful Card Stock and a bunch of various sized gift bags as well!

I went with a dog-theme today for my treat bags.  I no longer have a dog, but I have a few friends that do and this is such a fun idea that both the owner and dog alike would enjoy!

The options of treat bag toppers that you can create with this die are pretty much endless.

To start, I diecut my treat bag topper from White Card Stock and then trimmed a piece of the Tiny Checks Patterned Paper to 4" x 2".

I then lined up my paper where I wanted to place it on the bag topper and used a ruler and a pencil to draw lines at the places that I wanted to trim my paper to fit perfectly onto the topper.  This part was super easy and didn't take very long.

I then diecut some white scalloped circles using the Stitched Mini Scallops Circle STAX Die-namics. I also used the Circle STAX Die-namics Set 2 to cut a smaller white circle on which to place my paw prints from the Paw Prints Die-namics.

I stamped some pups from both the Puppy Kisses and Canine Companions Stamp Sets and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers.

I used both the gusseted treat bags and small treat bags (that are included) in my treat bags today.  I added some Gravy Milkbones by Milkbone in the bag above and Cesar Softies by Mars Petcare in the treat bag below.

I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and then adhered them to the bag topper with some 3D Foam Squares.

You are going to love this kit!  Head on over to the MFT Blog for some more inspiration and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $25 MFT Gift Voucher!

This kit will be available for a bundle deal (or at regular price separately) this coming Tuesday, March 26 @ 10 AM EDT.
