MFT Color Challenge #108 - Bear Hugs Enclosed

Hello friends!  Today starts a brand new Color Challenge (#108) from MFT Stamps!  I absolutely love this color combination.

The colors shown are After Midnight, Sweet Tooth, Cement Grey, and Tropical Teal.  You don't have to use the exact colors that are listed to enter the challenge but just create with similar colors that these ones inspire you to use.

I made a fun little box card for my take on this challenge.  For the box dimensions, you can refer to one of my previous posts HERE.  I stamped all of my images with Black Ink onto Smooth White Card Stock, colored with Copics and used their coordinating dies to cut them out.  I diecut a window out of the front of my box using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Die-namics and added a piece of acetate to the front.  I also added one more layer of acetate as the first "shelf" behind the window to add more dimension and depth to my water.  For my deep blue water, I blended some Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire).

I added some snowy hills using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.  For the background of the card, I simply trimmed a piece of Blueberry Prestige Card Stock, heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and then drew in some snow with a White Gel Pen.

Come play along with us for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher!  Stop by the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog to see what the rest of the participating team members have created!

I hope you enjoyed my card today!  Box cards really are so much fun.
