MFT Stamps - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #414

It's time for a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge from MFT Stamps!  You may find it more difficult during this busy time of the year to find the time to make a lot of cards, but this week's sketch is pretty simple!

I went with a pretty basic but fun design today and used one of the sweet little Elves from the BB Santa's Elves Set.  I first stamped my elf onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copics and used the coordinating die set to cut him out.

For the bright blue background, I blended some Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides onto a panel of smooth white cardstock. spritzed it lightly with water and then loosely patted it dry with a paper towel.  I then trimmed this panel down to 4.25" x 5.5" to fit a standard A2 sized Card.  Once the panel was dry, I added some falling snow using the Snowfall Stencil and some White Embossing Paste.

I added a strip of White Card Stock to the bottom portion of my card to resemble snow on the ground.  I added a curvy stitched pattern into this strip using the Homespun Stitch Lines Die-namics.  I then stamped my sentiment from the Birdie Brown Greetings Galore Stamp Set with Black Ink.
