MFT Stamps - A Good Time To Wine Card Kit - Day 1

Hello everyone!  It's time to debut the newest Card Kit from MFT Stamps!  The "A Good Time to Wine" Card Kit is packed with goodies and is perfect for creating some fun, chic cards that can be created quickly and easily.

For my card today, I created a fun birthday card with strong, contrasting colors using many items from the new kit and some Distress Inks.

I first created my background by blending some Distress Inks (Ripe Persimmon, Candied Apple, Festive Berries, Fired Brick, and Black Soot) onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb Card Stock.  Once dry, I used the Basic Shapes - Circles Stencil and some White Ink to create a simple Bokeh-style background.

I then adhered a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock and Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper to the bottom of my card.  I heat embossed the my sentiment above the black strip of paper with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder.

I then used the Wine Glass Die-namics to cut a wine glass from White Card Stock.  To add some sparkly embellishment, I used the Wine Shaker Pouches and then attached both of these to the front of the card with some strong liquid adhesive.

This super fun new card kit will be available this coming Tuesday, December 18th, at 10AM EDT.  If you'd like some more inspiration using this kit, make sure to stop by the MFT Blog.  Make sure to leave a comment there for a chance to win a $25 MFT Gift Voucher!
