Over the Moon for Ewe - MFT December Release Countdown - Day 5

Can you believe that it's time for another MFT Stamps Product Release?  We have so many new and amazing stamp and die sets to show you over the next few days, so get ready!

My card today features the new Over the Moon for Ewe Stamp Set.  It's packed with so many adorable sheep and fun accessories.  I went with a galactic-dream themed card today.

I started by creating the galaxy sky background by watercoloring a piece of Ranger Watercolor Paper.  I loosely blended some Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors (50 Pale Aqua, 10 White blended with 34 DarkPink, 139 Purple, 63 Persian Blue, and 20 Black).  Once Dry, I spritzed this panel with some Perfect Pearls mixed with water and then splattered it with both Gold and White Paint.

I then attached this panel to a top-folding A2 sized card base.  I stamped my sentiment in Black Ink onto some puffy white clouds from the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics.  I also added a moon that I simply die-cut from White Card Stock using the coordinating dies.

For the sheep, I stamped them onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with some Warm Grey Copics (W00, W1, W2, W4, W5, W7, W9) and attached them to  my card with some 3D Adhesive Foam Squares for some added dimension.

Don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 MFT Gift Voucher!  From there, you can check out some more sneak peeks and amazing designs from the rest of the team.

Thanks so much for dropping by!  If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, don't forget to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!

Wishing you all a lovely day!

  3. I love your galaxy background for the ewes. I will have to pull out my Gansai Tambi watercolors and give it a try! Your background turned out beautifully! Of course, the sheep are adorable too!

    2. Thank you so much, Debi! It was actually quite easy to make! I have to warn you (if you try it) keep with it until the end. There were moments that I thought that my background looked like a royal mess, lol. But once it dries and you add the splatters, it actually looks intentional. :0)
