MFT October Release Countdown - Day 5

Hello fellow crafters!  It's time for the newest MFT Stamps Product Release Countdown!  I think you're really going to love all that we have in store for you over the next few days and I'm so excited to share it with you!

My card today features a couple of the newest products.  The main one that I want to focus on are the brand new Trifold Slider Die-namics.  I have used these dies on the inside of my card today to create a fun interactive slider card surprise.  On the outside, I used some adorable images from the new Tweet Holiday Stamp Set combined with the new Snow Flurry Stencil.

I also featured some more fun images from this cute set on the inside of my card.  All of my images were stamped onto a sheet of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Copic friendly black ink, colored with Copics and cut out with their coordinating dies.  For both blue sky backgrounds, I blended some Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.  For the outside of my card, I used some Snowflake Paste along with the Snow Flurry to create my snow.  For the inside, I simply splattered some opaque white paint so as not to add too much bulk with embossing paste.

For my foliage, I diecut a few leaves from the Wild Greenery Die-namics from smooth white card stock and then added color with various green Copic markers (G20, YG06, YG17, G28).

I like having various shades of green instead of just using green card stock in this instance because I feel like it helped my images to "pop" more.

Now for the fun part!  When you open to the inside of my card, the birds are apart.  But as you open the card completely, they slide together under the mistletoe for some sweet snuggles.

The sentiment on the inside reads, "Merry Christmas to the One I Love".  So cute!  This automatic sliding mechanism is the fun feature of the Trifold Slider Die-namics.  There is a very informative video HERE as well as on the MFT Blog on how to use these fun dies from DT Member Karolyn Loncon (she actually helped design this set).  I also have a short clip below showing you how this die set works in action.

Make sure you stop by the MFT Blog for some more sneak peeks, crafty inspiration and a chance to win an MFT Gift Voucher!  All new products and new product links will be available this coming Tuesday, October 10th at 10AM EDT.

Thanks so much for dropping by!  Stay tuned!  There's so much more coming!
