MFT - May Release Countdown Day 3!

Hello everyone!  We are only 3 days away from the newest My Favorite Things release!  So exciting!

My card today features the new Aussie Animals Stamp Set.  This set is so much fun!  I used the cute little Koala Bear for my card today.  I kept it fairly simple because I wanted the background to pop and showcase this cute little bear.

For my background, I blended some Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick Distress Inks and then splattered it with some red and white ink.  I diecut this panel with the Oval Die-namics and then added a Stitched Scallop Oval Frame on top.

For the base of my card, I splattered some black & white paint for some added interest before adhering my oval distressed background piece.  For the koala, I stamped him with black ink and cut him out with the coordinating dies.  I then colored him with Copics and attached him to the center of the oval with some 3D foam adhesive squares.  I stamped my sentiment onto white card stock and die cut it with the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-namics.
