Friendly Foxes | MFT Stamps May Release Countdown Day 5

Hello, everyone!  Are you ready?  It's time to start the countdown for the May release from My Favorite Things!

I am so excited to show you the latest set from Stacey Yacula called Friendly Foxes!  I love how cute these foxes are, especially the little one wearing his or her dad's tie.

I stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored with Copics.  I used their coordinating dies to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:

Fox Darker Fur: YR20, Y17, YR15, YR18, E19
Fox Lighter Fur: E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04
Blue Ties: B0000, B01, B02, B04, B06

For my background, I used a sheet of Kraft Card Stock cut to 4.25" x 5.5" and adhered it to a top folding horizontal A2 Card Base of Smooth White Card Stock.  I then added a sheet of blue patterned paper from the Tiny Check Paper Pack.  I added a small strip of Cornflower Prestige Cardstock to break up the area where the patterned paper joined the Kraft Card Stock.

I then added a stitched white circle using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and adhered my images to to with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.  Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock.

    1. Thank you, Karen! That’s what I love so much about Copic markers. With so many blending options, you can get a lot of nice light and dark contrasting. :0)
