Hello again! I am back for one more post today to share with you the newest stamp set from the Birdie Brown Collection. You're going to love the "Bring Out the Sunshine" set!
I love all things Birdie Brown and this set is just so precious! I wanted to create a summery look with my card today and did some ink blending with some Distress Oxide Inks for my background. I trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock and blended some Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.
I then splattered this piece loosely with some water and let it sit for a minute. Once set, I then lightly blotted off any remaining water with a dry paper towel. I then again added a few more splatters of both Opaque White Paint and Black Watercolor Paint for some added interest.
I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto another sheet of Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock and used Copics to color them. Once done, I then cut them out with their coordinating dies. For the grass on my card, I used the Grassy Edges Stencil and blended it lightly with some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink.
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment with black ink onto the top right corner of my card and added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive for added dimension.
