Stacey Yacula Warm & Feathered Hugs - MFT November Release Countdown Day 5

Hello crafty friends!  It's time for another MFT Stamps Release Countdown and I promise that you won't be disappointed!  I am so excited to share with you today another new stamp set called Warm & Feathered Hugs by Stacey Yacula.

My card today features on of the sweet little owls from this set, happily sledding down a snow covered hill.  I love the delicacy of her images and this owl just looks so sweet in his little scarf!  To start, I first stamped him in Copic friendly black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock.  I then colored him with Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut him out.

I then created the base of my card by cutting out a piece of White Card Stock at 4.25" x 5.5" and then diecutting a circle in the center of it using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.  For my snowy background, I blended a few Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, and Salty Ocean) onto a sheet of Smooth White Card Stock.  Once dry, I used some White Texture Paste and the Snow Flurry Stencil to create some snow.

Before putting my card together, I stamped my sentiment with Black Ink on the lower portion of the card and added a strip of Black Licorice Cardstock and Patterned Paper from the Candy Land Paper Pack.  I can't get enough of this Patterned Paper Pad.  I love all of the designs and colors and it adds so much to your projects.

I stamped the trees with Premium Milk Chocolate Ink and used their coordinating dies to cut them out.  I layered some snow drifts from the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics with some 3D Foam Tape for some depth and dimension and then adhered my images inside the circle window.  Lastly, I adhered this panel to a top-folding A2-sized card base.
