MFT & Friends - February Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!  I have two cards to share with you for today's MFT & Friends feature.  I was inspired by my children to create two different card versions using the Super Cat and Super Dog Stamp Sets.  My sons wanted to see something similar to a show they like to watch called PJ Masks and my daughter asked me to make something with pinks and purples (and a unicorn but that didn't seem to fit with today's theme, lol).

As you can see, I created one that is more feminine and the other more masculine.  However, I love the colors on both of them and how, even though they are similar, each card looks vastly different based on the colors that I used.

For my first card, I blended a 8.25" x 3.25" sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.  I love this color combination!  I then adhered two sections of the city skyline using the City Block Die-namics cut from White Card Stock.

I then adhered my images using 3D Foam Adhesive Squares and/or liquid adhesive depending on how much depth that I wanted the image to have.  I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock.  I then diecut this strip using the Hearts in a Row - Vertical Die-namics.

Copic Colors Used:

White: 0, C00, C0, C1, C2, C3, C4
Pink: RV0000, RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66
Teal: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49
Purple: V000, V01, V04, V06, V09
Ears: RV000, R81, R85

For my second card, I blended some Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Ink onto a 8.25" x 3.25" sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.  I then spritzed it lightly with water and blotted it dry with a paper towel.  Once dry, I added some stars by splattering some Opaque White Paint.

I then added a city skyline again but this time, I cut it from black card stock.  I added a few pieces of Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock to some of the windows to make them look lit.

I colored all of my images with Copic Sketch Markers.  I stamped my sentiment onto a sheet of white card stock and die cut it with the Hearts in a Row - Horizontal Die-namics.

Copic Colors Used:

Blues: B21, B24, B28, B37
Reds: R02, R05, R29, R46, R89
Greens: YG0000, YG01, YG07, YG17, G28
Light Brown Dog: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E04, E15
Dark Brown Dog: E30, E31, E33, E25, E29, E49
