Sending Hugs - MFT Stamps Wednesday Sketch Challenge #421

Hello, crafty friends!  Today starts a brand new Wednesday Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things!

I decided to flip the sketch today and use a strip of some pink & white heart-patterned paper from the Sweet Stack Paper Pack for the bottom portion of my card.  I combined this with the newly released Joyful Hearts Bears illustrated by Stacey Yacula.

To start, I stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.  I then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. (Brown: E31, E23, E25, E29; Pink: RV0000, RV00, RV52, RV55).  I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For my background, I used the new Lots of Heart Stencil and lightly blended some Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks.  Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip Licorice Card Stock and used the smallest of the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics to cut it out.

Here is a look at this week's sketch layout.  Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher (winner chosen randomly).  Head on over to the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Blog to see the beautiful designs from the rest of the team.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, don't forget to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!

Wishing you a lovely day and Happy Cardmaking!
