MFT Stamps Color Challenge #115 - I Love You Sow Much

Hello!  It's time for a new Color Challenge from My Favorite Things!  I have a fun little card to share with you today that features the newest stamp set released by Stacey Yacula.

If you haven't yet checked out the new Piggy Pebbles Stamp Set, I highly recommend it!  These cute little pigs can be used for all seasons and are so easy to color.  For my little pig today, I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.  I then used some Copics (R000, R00, R11, and E33) to color him.

The colors for Color Challenge #115 are Grout Gray, Peach Bellini, Blue Breeze, and Cornflower.  You don't have to use these exact colors for the challenge but just ones that this palette inspires you to use.

For my card background, I blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, and Faded Jeans) for my sky.  I then splattered this blended area with some water and patted it dry with a paper towel.  For the ground area, I lightly blended some Hickory Smoke Distress Ink.  For my raindrops and rain puddle, I used the stamps included in the set and heat embossed them with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder once my ink-blending was dry.

I then cut this panel out with one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a patterned paper base with some 3D Foam Adhesive.  Lastly, I attached my pig using some 3D Foam Squares for some added dimension.

Head on over to the MFT Blog for more inspiration!  Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! (Winner chosen randomly).

As always, thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!  I appreciate each and every one of you!  If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, don't forget to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!

Hugs!
