MFT - Stitched Blooms Card Kit Release - Day 2

Hello everyone!  It's day two of the My Favorite Things Stitched Blooms Card Kit Release.  I absolutely love the stitched flower Die-namics that come in this kit.  They're so versatile and easy to use and they'll look good on pretty much anything!

I made a shaker card today with some of the smaller stitched blooms and also the Sparkling Crystals that come with this kit.  For my background, I diecut a piece of Smooth White Card Stock with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX and the LJD Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Die-namics.  I then added a small white frame using the Linked Octagon Frame Die-namics.  It's very subtle but I like the effect.

I blended some Distress Oxide Inks (all colors used are listed in the links below) onto some smooth white card stock and then diecut my flowers and leaves.  I added them on top with some 3D foam adhesive squares.

For my sentiment, I blended some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink onto white card stock and then die cut it multiple times.  I then glued each piece together for some added dimension and then glued them to my card.  To finish it off, I added a few Metallic Silver Nuvo Drops.

This kit will be available, tomorrow, Tuesday April 24th at 9:00PM EST.  All links for new products will be active at that time.

  1. Loved your use of the flowers on a shaker card! Interested in how you blended distress ink colors and then die cut the flowers - very clever.

  2. This is a lovely card, so bright and cheerful! And who doesn't love a shaker card?

  3. This card makes me think of the clear blue ocean and beautiful flowers and just a happy joyful day. The green leaves you chose are really nice with the bright colors.
