Bitty Bears Birthday Tags - MFT Birthday Project

Hello everyone!  For this month's MFT Birthday Project, it's all about utilizing your birthday-themed stash of stamps and Die-namics to create accent tags, gift wraps, and/or spruce up your envelopes.  For my project today, I made a series of Birthday Gift Tags featuring the BB Bitty Bears Stamp Set.

I paired them with the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics to create some fun and colorful shaker tags.  To start, I first blended a few scraps of Smooth White Card Stock with some Distress Oxide Inks.

Distress Oxide Inks Used:

  • Bright Green Tag: Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn
  • Pink Tag: Worn Lipstick
  • Blue Tag: Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean
  • Muted Green Tag: Cracked Pistachio

Once dry, I splattered each panel with some Opaque White Ink for some added interest.

For the bears, I stamped them with black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with some Cool Grey Copics (0, C00, C1, C2, C4).  I added some hats using the smallest birthday hat die from the BB Happy Hippos Die-namics.  I added a little white fluff on top by using the Marvy Snow Marker Pen.

These tags work perfectly on gift bags and/or boxes!  They add a lot more character to your gifts and the shaker component also makes them a lot more fun!

I used a variety of shaker components (listed in links below) but pretty much any smaller sized shaker embellishment should work!

I really like how these turned out and look forward to attaching them to gifts in the near future.
